Dale Seibert '70 is active in his High Point, N.C. community where he had a career in accounting before his retirement. He enjoys frequent long walks and occasional visits to Washington, D.C. to visit historical sights.

Dale is also strategic in his philanthropic plans. As a longtime annual donor to MU and community organizations, he realized he wanted to do more.  In 2014, Dale endowed a scholarship through an annual gift and future bequest from his estate.

Once fully funded, The Franklin and Emily Seibert Memorial Endowed Scholarship will provide needed funds to exceptional MU students in perpetuity.

Reflecting on how he accomplished this milestone, Dale said:

"Good investments have enabled me to make modest contributions to worthy causes in recent years. My giving will continue after I'm gone with an endowed scholarship at Methodist University."
